First Australian Silver Coin Featuring King Charles III

The first Perth Mint coin to feature the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III on the obverse.

Previously known as the Prince of Wales, Charles became King on the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, on 8 September 2022.

Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality. No more than 7,500 coins will be released.

The coin’s reverse portrays a bounding kangaroo surrounded by stylised rays of sunlight.
